Dear friends and followers, It was a busy week at Big Island Rendezvous and rumors have it that more than 20,000 people attended! I think I talked to most of them. Wonderful school children visited about 60 demonstrators on Thursday and Friday. Even though Friday was wet and miserable, students participated in living history.
This week, Wednesday through Friday, at McGowan's History Fest, I will be joining other demonstrators presenting to school children with a public day on Saturday. Rain is predicted on Friday again! NO! We do not reschedule or cancel. We adapt. But McGowan's is always a fabulous adventure so, please, join us. McGowan's is at the confluence of the Blue Earth and LeSueur rivers near Mankato.
