I submitted two projects to the Brown County Free Fair in New Ulm, MN. I love the little purse. It is just big enough to hold my phone, ID, and a tube of lip balm for a night out. I used a filigree technique with a sheet of copper as a backing and an applique flower in the center. The belt is tooled, 60" long with muted colors. The leaves are green, the flowers blue and flower centers yellow. I did not make it with anyone in mind. I was just working a tooling pattern. It can be resized to fit. As I just got them home again, I haven't decided on a price. It will be on my table at the Mankato Makerspace Makermarket on August 21, 2022, 11 am to 5 pm. Please visit the Market and see all the wonderful makers and their wares.
If you are looking for me, I will be in Floodwood, MN for the Savanah Portage Rendezvous in congunction with the SW St. Louis County Fair. I'll be there August 25th through 28th.
From August 30th through September 1st I will be demonstrating shoemaking for the Territorial Pioneers at their cabin during the Minnesota State Fair. Find the Territorial Pioneers across from the Horticulture building.
The North Country will see me again in September at the Lester River Rendezvous in Lester Park, Duluth MN, Sept. 22 through 24. Thursday and Friday are education days for School Children and Saturday is a huge Art Fair. It is a fantastic event!

October 4th through 8th you can find me at McGowans History Fest in Mankato, Minnesota. The little village of Darby is the setting for the most fun you can have while learning. There are no such thing as grown ups here. It is magic.
